I think what I learn the most so far is how to use R and understanding the different entries needed to produce graphs and mathematical calculations. I honestly thought I would struggle on that but now I have funs plugging in the different codes and seeing the results generated.
I also believe my understanding of how evolution differs from evolution mechanisms has improved, as before these concepts were kind of blurry to me and now I understand their differences and the influences of evolution mechanisms on evolution.
I believe that I had a very shallow understanding of evolution, mainly based on what I learned in high-school, and that reflects on my first post. Given that, I would definitely explorer more the concept of evolution in my first post, as I have learned more in this course about the different aspects of evolution, such as the different evolution mechanisms.
I think the concepts of genetic drift and gene flow are still confusing to me, and I'd definitely benefit from more content on that, and as we progress with our course, I look forward to learning more about the relationship between evolution and hereditability/genetics.
I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed working with the code! We will definitely get more into the other mechanisms of evolution starting in the next couple of weeks, so I'm looking forward to that too!
